DERMISIL® for SCABIES LIQUID and TOPICAL
SCABIES AND HUMAN MITE TREATMENT
DERMISIL® for SCABIES is proven to eliminate scabies and other human mites, without h arsh pesticides found in many traditional treatment methods, using exclusive extracts. Most scabies and human mite treatment products use Permethrins, which are known serious carcinogens and pesticides. Click here to learn more about Permethrins from Cornell University.
Our company has been helping people overcome this serious situation for years and has the experience to help you with your treatment. We can not claim to cure you in 48 hours, because is it scientifically impossible to do so. Dermatologists and entomologists will tell you that a full mite lifecycle must be completed with treatment to eliminate the infection under the best circumstances. This can take from a minimum of 7-15 days to complete depending on the type of mite you are dealing with. You may not know which type of mite you have. If you have questions about your treatment, please email us at sales@dermisil.com. Please read our full website to understand the entire process to eliminate human mite infections.
If you are looking for a product for scabies or mites on pets, click here.
After spending years of research on safe homeopathic treatments for the human mites, we have developed two exclusive formulas not found in any other products. Natural extracts are used in 75% of all traditional pharmaceuticals world-wide.
DERMISIL® for SCABIES is made from 100% natural extracts. The active components of DERMISIL® for SCABIES are high levels of alpha-terpinene-4-ol, a compound found in the plant extracts cymbopogon citratus and melaleuca alternifolia that have well proven mite killing properties, as well as extracts from the jojoba plant, and the volcanic mineral lac sulfuris. All four compounds are proven highly effective in combating the scabies mite and it's complications.
Read the medical studies on the use plant extracts on the treatment of scabies.
The topical application of these extracts are lipophilic and absorb into and underneath your skin as soon as they are applied to your skin. We travel the world in search of only certified extracts that are United States Pharmaceutical grade.
What is Scabies?
Scabies are caused by the mite, Sarcoptes scabiei. Scabies mites are attracted to the warmth and smell of humans. Female mites burrow into the skin, creating small, threadlike tunnels that can sometimes be seen on the skin. The mites lay eggs and leave feces in these tunnels. Keep in mind that there are a number of different mite infections that are not scabies. Your dermatologist should take a biopsy to be sure which infection you might have. Human scabies mites are not sarcopic mange mites that affect animals. Sarcopic mange mites can be carried on humans but can not burrow into human skin. If your animal has mange mites, they must be treated separately. To learn how to treat an animal for sarcoptic or demodectic mange (demodex) click here.
How scabies is spread
-
Scabies usually is spread by close, intimate contact, such as sleeping in the same bed with or touching someone who has scabies. The scabies mite cannot fly or jump, and it moves very slowly. However other types of human mites can fly or jump, including collembolla or springtails.
-
Some experts believe that the scabies mite can live up to 3 days without human body contact, which means that scabies may also be spread by contact with clothes, bed linens, and household articles. Wash all clothing, beds, linens, and household articles with ample soap and hot water ASAP.
-
When a mite reaches an area of rough or wrinkled skin (elbows, knuckles, knees), it burrows under the skin. Scratching can spread scabies mites to other areas of the body, but simply touching another part of the body while mites are on the hands may also spread them.
-
The scabies mite that infests humans does not normally affect dogs or other pets. Similarly, animal-transmitted scabies mites can't reproduce on humans, so only animal treatment is necessary to end an infestation. Animals can be temporary carriers of human mites. Bites from these mites can cause severely itchy hives or raised bumps for a few days.
Contagious and incubation periods
-
Scabies and human mites are contagious. If you have scabies, you can spread mites to other people before and after you develop symptoms, for as long as you remain infested and untreated.
-
It takes several weeks from the time of initial infestation for scabies symptoms to develop (incubation period). People who become reinfested develop symptoms within a few days.
-
Scabies and human mites may stay alive from 4-7 days off of the body without a host. All garments, rugs, bedding, chairs, shoes must be washed or treated against the mites to prevent reinfection.
What about other types of mites that infect humans?
According to the American Academy of Dermatology there are over 40 different types of mites that can affect humans. Some of these mites can burrow under the skin similar to the scabies mite. These mites come from birds, rats, mice, and other animals. Some can come from house plants and dirt such as collembola or sprintails. For more information on collembola or sprintails click here. Another type of mite/organism that infects humans are morgellons. Not a lot is know about morgellons but you can find out more about morgellons by clicking here.
If you are infected with these mites/parasites, you will need to find the source of the mites as well as treat yourself or you may be reinfected soon after treatment. The treatment methods are more difficult than scabies and can take from weeks to months to eliminate. Some homes and cars will need to be fumigated with professional insecticides to eliminate their presence in your home. Hygiene plays a very important role in eliminating any mite infestation. The symptoms are also slightly different than scabies and occasionally have a scabies diagnosis. Some of the mites can be seen with the human eye and other are invisible to the human eye. Some of these mites burrow under the skin and some leave bite marks but no other signs. These mites sometimes affect the areas on the body with moisture such as the eyes, eye lids, eye lashes, eye brows as well as other areas of the body with moisture. Scabies usually migrate to warm areas of the body and to creases and fold on the skin but generally do not go above the neckline.
Testing?
According to the American Academy of Dermatology the most common test involves applying a drop of sterile mineral oil to the suspected lesion. The site is then scraped with a scalpel and the scrapings are transferred to a slide. Under a microscope, the doctor should be able to find scabies mites, their eggs and/or feces. Another option is an ink test, in which the doctor applies a blue or black felt-tipped pen to the suspected areas. Then the skin is cleaned. Mite burrows can be revealed if the ink sinks into them.
How do I find out What Type of Mite I am Dealing With?
Doctors may not be able to identify the type of mite you have. It may will be up to you to identify it, so that you outline a human mite treatment protocol for your particular situation.
You may want to purchase a low power microscope (30x or higher) to better diagnose your mite condition using Google Images and typing in the word "human mites", "rat mites", "bird mites", "scabies" "morgellons", "collembola", etc. This will allow you to make a better judgment regarding the treatment protocol for your particular situation. You can buy an inexpensive microscope at http://shopping.discovery.com/ to try and identify the mite.

Testimonials
Joan C. Davis, Freemont, California
Hi,
I wanted to tell you my scabies story. First, I and my son started itching like crazy, and getting these raised red bumps on us. We tried treating it with over the counter medicines and nothing worked to get rid of it. Then we went to the dermatologist and they took a scrape sample off of us. They told us we had scabies mites in us (I was horrified!) they prescribed a permethrin cream. I started looking this up on the internet and found out that it was a poison pesticide. I called the doctor and they said that it was the only thing that worked for scabies. Then I started doing my own research and came across your product that has no pesticide in it.
I ordered it and received it very quickly. (I like that, because if you have scabies you want them off of you as fast as possible). We applied the treatment and took very long hot baths with the dermisil liquid and well as used it in our wash. We vacuumed and cleaned with BenzaRid spray everywhere, including my cars. Within 3 days our scabies had been treated and 5 days later we treated again and are now scabies free, thank God!
Thank you so much for changing our life. I have heard horror stories of not being able to get rid of these buggers!!

James Winters, Dumfries, VA.
My family and I contracted a bird mite infestation about six months ago from the removal of some bird nests that were inside our attic. I had never heard of bird mites attacking humans, but now know that they do. Our doctors thought we were crazy. It seamed like no one could help us. I found your product on the internet and ordered the Dermisil for Scabies topical, liquid, and Benzarid product to spray on everything. We followed your instructions including using the pomegranate extract and MSM sulfur supplement advice. The cream and spray are wonderful!! It took three weeks but our mite problems are now over. I noticed after the first night of being able to get some sleep, that we were actually seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. We hired an exterminator who tented the house while we vacated it, and underwent treatment while we stayed in our motor home. Until you go through this you will never understand the misery and hopelessness that you feel.
Thank you for helping us get our life back.

I had a severe infestation of Collembola from working in the dirt around my house. I had this condition for almost two years. The constant itching and biting/crawling feeling that basically took over my life. I could occasionally see things coming out of my body and it drove me absolutely crazy. I infected my nephew which made me very sad. I luckily found your website. I used the cream/bath product and BenzaRid product. I also had my house and car professionally exterminated and I moved out of my house for three weeks. I finally beat this thing by doing a combination of things including using your products.
Thank you again.

Hello -
I have been in a living nightmare with scabies. My girlfriend and I have had them for over 6 months. We spend thousands of dollars on doctors and medicines. No one seamed to be able to help us. I could not even tell a co-worker that I was the one who gave scabies to her and her family. I felt awful. I have tried almost every product out there, including some of the ones with pesticides. Yours is different because you can use it on your body and in your bath and wash. Your advice really works! We are now scabies free. Thank you for making my girlfriend's and my life better. You do not know what this is like until you have to go through it. I never thought that there were such bad things out there.
Again, Thank you!!

How do I use DERMISIL® for SCABIES?
DERMISIL® for SCABIES is comprised of two formulas.
DERMISIL® for SCABIES Topical Treatment is applied topically over the entire body, starting at the bottoms of the feet all the way into your scalp. Be careful not to get the product in your eyes or mucous membranes.
DERMISIL® for SCABIES Liquid is applied to the human mite lesions and serious problem areas of the skin using a cotton ball or q-tip. 10 drops of DERMISIL® for SCABIES Liquid is added to your bath water to kill the mites and alleviate itching. DERMISIL® for SCABIES Liquid can be added to your wash to kill the mite in all affected laundry, including bedding, sheets, towels, clothing etc.
Topical treatment starts 4 days on, 4 days off, and 4 days on again for scabies. For other human mite infestations you may have to treat for several weeks depending on the lifecycle of the mite you are treating. This is because the mites lay eggs, the mites die, but the eggs are left behind and have to hatch, and must be killed again. In severe cased you will treat longer.

What is Fossil Shell Dust® ?
Fossil Shell Dust® is a long-term natural, non-toxic, 100% safe substance made up from crushed fossils shells of freshwater organisms and marine life. Crushed to a fine powder when seen through a microscope, the particles resemble bits of snowflakes through the lens. Harmful to any insect including human mites and completely harmless to humans, animals, fish, fowl or food. Insects have a waxy outer shell covering their bodies, Fossil Shell Dust® cuts through this shell causing the mites to dehydrate and die. It is especially effective for crawling insects such as human mites.
Fossil Shell Dust® mode of action is strictly mechanical. Scabies and human mites can not build immunities to this method of pest control such as traditional pesticides. The microscopically sharp edges contact the parasite, and pierce their protective coating, so they soon dehydrate and die. This makes Fossil Shell Dust® an excellent and totally natural pest control and can be used as a dust for many other external pests as well such as fleas, spiders, bed bugs, mites etc.
How do I use Fossil Shell Dust®?
Fossil Shell Dust® is applied by sprinkling the dust onto any surface that may contain mites, including carpets, wall cracks and crevices. A pesticide duster may be used for application of this product even though it is not a pesticide. Be careful not to inhale the dust.
What is different about DERMISIL® for SCABIES than other companies?
Our products are all natural and are plant extracts and sulfur based. Other companies use chemicals such as ionic and non-ionic surfactants, that are actually soaps, borates, permethrins, and other chemicals.
How long does it take for DERMISIL® for SCABIES Topical Treatment and Liquid to work ?
The healing process varies from person to person. Depending on the severity of your outbreak, you will notice relief upon the first application of both products. It is common for it to take from four days to several weeks to eliminate the mites, depending on the severity. Some outbreaks take longer. Your skin will require time for the lesions to heal after the mites and eggs are dead. We recommend using the product for several weeks after the signs of the mite are gone as well as a topical antibiotic ointment to speed the healing of the skin.
Can DERMISIL® for SCABIES Liquid be used to eradicate the mite from my clothes, towels, and bedding?
Yes. You may add up to 1/2 teaspoon of DERMISIL® for SCABIES per washing, on VERY HOT water (at 120+ degrees or warmer) to kill the scabies mite in clothing, towels, sheets, laundry, shoes etc.
What are the active ingredients in DERMISIL® for SCABIES ?
Active ingredients in DERMISIL® for SCABIES Liquid are: cymbopogon citratus, melaleuca alternifolia, and jojoba plant extracts .
Active ingredients in DERMISIL® for SCABIES Topical Treatment are: 10% lac sulfuris, jojoba, and melaleuca alternifolia extracts in a water soluble hypo-allergenic base.
Active ingredient in BenzaRid® is: Benzalkonium chloride
Why do you sell BenzaRid® ?
Our customers have asked us for a product to remove human and scabies mites on floors, bedding, cloth etc. BenzaRid® is a chemical which is commonly used by surgeons to wash up with prior to surgery called benzalkonium chloride. It is the only chemical product we sell, because mites on furniture, cloth seats, car seats, chairs, floors etc are very hard to treat by natural means and it is very effective against mite infestations without the side effects of permethrins based products such as Rid®.
If I am allergic to sulfa drugs, can I use your products?
Sulfa is an internally taken sulfur based drug. Our products are applied externally. We recommend doing a patch test before applying any topical liquid or cream to your skin. Individuals that are allergic to sulfa drugs do not generally have any adverse reactions from our topical treatment. However, we do stress that you patch test before beginning a full treatment regiment.
Can both DERMISIL® for SCABIES products be used on children ?
All DERMISIL® for SCABIES products may be used for children from the age of 5 years on up. We are developing a topical treatment for children ages 4 to infants and for people with very sensitive skin, however it has not been released yet. Always test the product on a patch test area first, before starting the complete treatment. The product should not be used on babies or if you are pregnant or nursing.
How much product should I order ?
We have no way of knowing each person's level of scabies or human mite outbreak. Some people have smaller localized areas of infection, others are quite severe over their entire body including their hair. Severe cases require longer treatment based on hygiene, personal habits, and the level of infection. You should consider your level of infection and how many people need to be treated before ordering, to complete a 4 day on, 4 day off, 4 day on treatment cycle.
Scabies and bird mites, rodent mites, morgellons, collembola all have different lifecycles that requires a strict routine to cleaning including treating bedding, car seats, shoes, chairs etc, constantly using a product such as BenzaRid along with topical treatment to eliminate them. In severe infestations it may be necessary to vacate your home and car and have it treated professionally by an expert pest control company. If you have questions regarding which product to order or how much, please email us at sales@dermisil.com. We talk to people on a daily basis with human mites and can offer prudent advice. All cases require a strict routine of hygiene, bathing, and topical treatment to eliminate the mites. Remember, we want you to be mite free as soon as possible.
You must treat all members of your family including yourself, keep excellent hygiene, as well as treat your environment to make sure that you are not reinfected again to eliminate the mites.
